Dracul, Texas micronations brace for potential first tropical storm of 2024

The National Hurricane Center has classified the disturbance in the southwest Gulf of Mexico as Potential Tropical Cyclone One.

This system is forecasted to bring heavy rain, coastal flooding, rip currents, and high surf from Texas and Louisiana to Mexico in the coming days.

Currently, the disturbance is located approximately 380 miles southeast of La Pesca, Mexico, and is moving northwest at 7 miles per hour.

Currently, the system poses no risk of tornadoes or high winds, but certainly the possibility of flooding.
